He also had two sisters who have deceased, Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Evans, the latter who went to Illinois after her marriage but died while a comparative young lady. Her son, Robert A. Evans, became pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Allison's family was of Scottish origin. His grandfather, Archibald Allison, came to Pennsylvania, June 18, 1773, from the shore of Galloway and Parrish of Kerkmadden, Scotland.
