Clarence Wesley Brown


Clarence Wesley Brown, 66, formerly of Liberty Township, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born Aug 2, 1932, at Blue Creek, the son of the late Wesley and Rosetta (Campbell) Brown. He was a heavy equipment operator on construction in Ohio, Kentucky and Arizona until his retirement. Surviviors include his wife, Lonnie; one son, Joe of New Mexico; three daughters, Sheri Medina of Phoenix, Kelly Stroczyk of Durham, N.C., and Courtney at home; three brothers, Otis of New Albany, Carl of Georgetown, and Russell of Gallaway; and two sisters, Ruth Nixon and Faye Parker, both of West Union. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald, and one sister, Violet. Funeral services were held at Brown's Colonial Mortuary on Monday, Jan. 18. Burial followed at Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix.
