Wesley Brown
Wesley Lee Brown, 93, of West Union, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at a West Union Hospital. Born Nov 10, 1904, Blue Creek, a son of the late David and Mary Jane Newman Brown, he was a member of Adams County Farmers Union. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Nixon and Faye Parker, both of West Union; four sons, Otis Brown of New Albany, Ohio, Clarence Brown of Phoenix, Ariz., Carl Brown of Georgetown and Russell Brown of Galloway; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beam Funeral Home in West Union, with Tom Claibourne officiating, and interment in Kirker Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
