Robert Downing
Robert Downing, age 33, son of ex-Recorder Charles Downing, died Monday in a hospital in Oakland, California, of typhoid fever. He left Adams County about five years ago and devoted himself to the race track, training fast horses. He was married and had resided in California the past three years and was buried there. He was Charles Downing's only son.
