Cyanda McGlaughlin Fenner

Cyanda McGlaughlin Fenner was born December 26th, 1846, in Meigs county, OH, and died January 11th, 1910, aged 68 years, and 16 days. She was the youngest of a family of four children. Her mother died when Cyanda was in her infancy and her father died when she was 12 years old. She joined the M. E. Church when a mere child and was soundly converted. She has lived a consistent Christian life and died a triumphant death. She was married to H. M. Flenner, February 14th, 1871. To this union were born five children of whom four survived the mother. Mrs. Ella Frum, of Bloomington, OH, Mrs. Olive Daniel, of New Antioch, OH, Mrs. Ethel Gorman, of Bowersville, and Ray Fenner, of California; Howard dying in infancy. She leaves a husband, four children, six grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and quite a host of distant relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was a good mother and companion and loved her home and family with undying affection. During her last illness she was bedfast for some weeks but was patient and cheerful through all of her suffering. On Tuesday eve, she was called to her rest where sorrow and death never comes. To know her was to love her, to be counted among her friends an honor, to come under the influence of her happy, gentle Christian life a blessing. Mr. Fenner and family wishes to return their most grateful thanks to their many friends for their kindness during the sickness and death of a dear companion and mother.
