William Forsythe
William Forsythe was killed instantly last Friday afternoon at the Rarden Stone Co., where he was employed. His head was crushed by a dump vehicle. He was the son of Abraham Forsythe, Mayor of Rarden, and upon whose farm the stone quarry is located. He married the daughter of William Brown, for many years a resident of Locust Grove. Forsythe had resided with his family in Franklin Twp, but moved to Rarden about three years ago. He was a member of K of P Lodge. Funeral was last Sunday. He leaves a wife and two small children.
