Katie Catherine Moore
Katie Catherine Moore, 92, of Blue Creek, Ohio, died Sunday, Oct 10, 1999, at Crystal Care Center. She was born Dec, 25, 1906, in Blue Creek, a daughter of the late Murt and Bell Evans Cooper. She was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Moore. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Greathouse of Stout and Joetta Keeton of South Point; one son, Jonas Moore of Blue Creek; one stepson, Ralph Moore of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two infant sons, Oscar Eugene Moore and Bobbi Roscoe Moore; and several brothers and sisters. Services will be held 11a.m. Tuesday at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with the Rev. Willis Hard officiating, and burial in Sunshine Ridge Cemetery in Adams County. Friends may call for one hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
