Lowell M. Storer
Lowell M. Storer, 78, of Peebles, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, at his residence. He was born Jan 11, 1919, in Bratton Township, the son of the late John and Gracie Yankie Storer. He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and an army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Newman Storer, whom he married May 27, 1941; one daughter, Lois Ann Storer of Peebles; two brothers, Donald Storer of Peebles and Ronnie Storer of Waverly; two sisters, Mildred Vanzant of Hillsboro and Mary Grace Murphy of Seaman. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 13, 1997, at the Brooke-Lafferty-Wallace and Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, with Bill Christman officiating. Burial followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 12, at the funeral home.
