Mary J. Smith
Death at 11 o'clock this, morning claimed Mrs. Mary J. Smith, who passed way at the home of her son, Harry E. Smith of 1741 Seventh Street. She had been ill two weeks with Bright's disease. Mrs. Smith was the widow of the late Andrew C. Smith, who died six years ago. She was born in Rome, Adams County and was 79 years old. She is survived by the following children: Edgar P. of Gary Ind., Mrs Maude Mitchell of Okeanna,O., H. Clemmer of Cincinnati, and Harry E. of this city. Mrs. Smith was a woman known for her sweet traits and kindly spirit and she will be missed. The funeral services will be conducted from Mr. Smith's home on Seventh Street Sunday afternoon at 4:30 new time. Burial will take place at Rome, Adams County.
