Sadie Silcox
Sadie Silcox, 93, of West Union, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at the Adams County Hospital. Survivors include four children, Osa (Dick) Jordan of West Union, with whom she had made her home with for several years; Goldie Byrd of Brooklyn, Mich., Charles and Carol Silcox of Howell, Mich., and J.T. and Doris Silcox of Westland, Mich.; 26 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and six children. Services were held Monday, Dec. 16, at the Martin Wilson Funeral Home in Lafollette, Tenn. Burial took place Tusday, Dec. 17, at the Rock House Cemetery in Scott County, Tenn.
